Pizza Machine is moving to a location. They’ll be leaving downtown Gallatin, where they’ve been for three years.
The restaurant first opened in 2011. They have been looking for a new location for over a year, according to owner Colleen Comstock. They had to speed up their search after being informed that the owners of their current site were looking to sell.
“It’s bittersweet leaving the square, but it was just the uncertainty of it all,” said Comstock. “We liked being a part of the square. We loved the feel. It’s a shame that it worked out the way that it did.”
The new location is not far from the square. It is less than a mile away in the spot that used to house A Taste of Italy. Comstock hopes that the biggest change their customers see is just the change of address. They’ll be keeping the same business hours. The dining room is a little smaller in size, but the kitchen is larger. There is also more parking available at the new location.
They hope to expand the menu over time, but Comstock says, “There are going to be a lot of things that are unique about this place, but it is still going to feel like The Pizza Machine.”
