Washburn University Area is Unsafe for Pizza Deliveries

As much as the securities are remained high and the cautiousness is guarded up, the robberies with pizza delivery men are still on-going – and this is the fifth time in the city.

Last Thursday night, a pizza delivery driver was robbed with an unknown suspect, who is illustrated to be a black man with a black and red shirt.

The robbery took place at 1800 block of S.W. Lane near Washburn University campus at around 9:50 in the evening.

Luckily the driver was not hurt, but probably traumatized by the incident as the suspect carried a black handgun to point at the driver.

Though reports have been made and two robbers have been captured, incidents continue to happen. Police are currently still searching and investigating on the case.
