Wondering Where You Can Eat in Denton?

From 11 in the morning to 10 in the evening, a Fort Worth starter pizza restaurant named Pie Five Pizza Co. is open in Denton and since their opening in late January of 2013, locals can now taste a different kind of pizza.

The location is found at 1120 West Hickory at Fry Street across from the University of North Texas campus in Denton, which is their 9th branch.

During their opening, Chief Executive Officer Randy Gier stated that Denton would be a perfect location to expand to as they are the first to offer locals a healthier choice with their whole grain crust, and they also differ as they can serve varieties of flavors within five minutes.

"Denton is a young and active community and home to University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University. It's the ideal location to open our newest Pie Five restaurant. We can't wait to introduce the Denton community to our revolutionary pizza experience." Said Gier before the opening.

People in Denton are also on-the-go markets which makes Pie Five fit in within a healthy offer of Whole Grain, Artisan Thin, Classic Pan, or Gluten Free Crust.

"Our Denton location is the first Pie Five restaurant to offer Whole Grain Crust," Gier added. "The menu addition makes our Denton location unique and adds to the list of fresh and delicious choices available to our guests.”

Last February, their 10th location also opened at 3051 South University Drive on the Texas Christian University campus in Fort Worth.

They are also offering franchise opportunities, which is publicly announced through their website at
