Yelp Critics the Pizza Guy Who Made the Obama Power Lift

The Big Apple Pizza and Pasta Restaurant suddenly had an internet marketing boost, having over 2,300 reviews on Yelp alone. Both pros and cynics were present regarding Van Duzer's political view and whether he likes it or not, even the pizza parlor gets affected.

Out of 446, 412 were negative but the positive ones were very pleasing to see. One of the comment participants was Kenneth GS. From Washington DC, who said “Bear hugs for the win. Move over, bigoted chickens!” with five stars included in the review.

Though many posted comments were triggered by the political event, some of them insisted on posting the real deal. Chris L. from Florida,  for instance posted a review with four stars in it. Though it started in a phrase saying “I’ve had better” he also says that it’s “pretty good.”

He also made sure that he got to defend Van Duzer saying “To all the out of state, right-wing nut jobs trying to ruin this guys business with your b.s. and lies should be ashamed of yourselves!”

However, some reviews resent the pizza place alone. Gail A. from Portland, Oregon said that pizza there didn’t get any better just because he bear hugged the president.

“No matter how long, hard and high up in the air the pizza store owner hugs the bro...the pizza still sucks and the unflavorful crust tastes like crap.” And added a political insult stating “Go grow some balls all you liberal left wing nut cases.”

But don’t let Yelp reviews affect the way you look at the restaurant. If you ask me, it’s still best to try it out yourself than to rely on an open source review, after all to each is its own taste especially if it’s politically involved!
