The reviews led me to try Sal's while in Philly. Two blocks from the Lowes on 11th, this place is awesome. I got the cheesesteak and a meatball sub with fries and a drink for $13. I took it back to the hotel because the ovens make the place pretty warm in the summer. The food was fantastic. Fresh and hot. Try this place if you have the opportunity.

Very good!!: I heard about the big boys...pats, etc but this place has the BEST freekin cheese steaks I've ever had. (Im not from Philly so take my review with a grain of salt). Plus it was walking distance from my hotel - the Loews. Id much rather eat at Sals then the Loews. Go there, and enjoy it.

Great pizza and sandwiches: I love their plain and Sicilian pizza. Great combination of sauce and cheeze. I work at Jefferson Hospital and eat there once a week.

Sal's is a very good piece of pizza in a city that is loaded with good pizza parlors. You need something to stand out if you are going to make it and Sals stands out in the pizza category.

I am a pizza fanatic. This pizza is the best. I love the very thin crust with the best tasting toppings. Keep up the great work.
