Good Fellas is more than just "good". I used to work around the corner from this place and it still has some great pizza. They have a proper dining room, just what you expect at a NY pizzeria, red vinyl booths, melamine plates and a faint sticky feeling on everything. It's authentic.
There are a few tables set up in the pickup area if you prefer. They also offer takeout of course.
I think Good Fellas is actually operated by Armenians who will address you as "Boss" (say it loud). Kind of fun, I always wanted to be boss. So, wrong country, good pizza.
Sicilian- No disrespect to Italy, but this ultra thick and saucy version of pizza is one of my favorites and they build a good one, after one slice I'm ready for a carbo nap.
Focaccia- Tomato, basil, olive oil, garlic, those are the 4 basic elements right? This pizza is a thing of beauty, and your skin will be nice and shiny for a few days.
NY Style- They do it right, thin Neapolitan crust in a giant slice. Just plain cheese gets the job done.
Good Fella's offers other tasty creations made with leftover ingredients like garlic knots, calzones, stromboli and a variety of novelty pizzas.
You can get most items by the slice. Not much to look at, but who cares. nice people making some good pies.
