Best Italian food anywhere: This location of DeRango's (and ONLY this one) is the best Italian food, not only in Racine, but anywhere outside of Italy itself. I have never had a single complaint about the food or the service, and I've been dining there for years. If for some reason I'm ever on death row, my last meal request will be for their Chicken Alla Berto. There is really only one problem with this place. It has set the bar too high and ruined me for all other Italian restaurants. My review for any other Italian restaurants ALWAYS includes comparisons to DeRango's. ("Oh the service was top notch and the food was amazing.....but not as good as DeRango's on 6 Mile.") Do yourself a favor and just forget anywhere else even exists. After you've had DeRango's, you won't want to remember them anyways.

Wow! Food to remember...: The steaks, the spagetti, the meatballs...just writing that and thinking of De Rango on 6 miles food makes my mouth water. The steak is one of the most tender I have EVER had. This is not the run of the mill Italian food. There isn't any way that you could ever leave hungry. De Rangos usually gives you enough to enjoy 2 more meals delicious meals.....Many entree's are less than 10.00 a plate. They are also very accomadating to children, they will give them crayonms and a blank pizza pie and after your child decorates it, they hang it up on the wall...I mean how cool and special!

The charbroiled steaks are to die for! I really don't care too much for prime rib but their broasted, charbroiled one's are excellent, They also offer many other types of steaks, the meal includes soup, salad,bread and potato,don't forget to order the onion and mushroom side. I have been thinking of going again soon, get there early and wait at the door on the weekend because this place gets packed quick, but they can get you in usually about 15 minutes if you come later.hands down the best steakhouse in Racine. A hidden gem! from Milwaukee to Kenosha this one is the best I have found, can't wait for the next time I go, maybe the weekend before Valentine's Day because my Girlfriend has never been there before. UPDATE !! 3-20-2011, I went with my girl and she loved it! I had the rib-eye and it was awesome.We went to some fancy place in Milwaukee last month and dropped an easy 100 bucks and it didn't even come close,DeRango's was half the price.Now my Mom is taking me for my birthday in April and I can't wait, Oh yeah, they also have a full menu of other items and service is great, so tip them great!

Excellent Food and Service wide variety menu. Waitress uniforms need updating - looks like a diner from the 50's.
