Everyone loves bacon, especially when it's on a pizza. Its tasty, salty flavor can enhance pizza, regardless of the toppings. To avoid your pizza being completely unhealthy, adding asparagus can be your ticket to not feeling completely horrible about yourself after you eat the entire thing. It's a rather simple recipe, and so long as you include the two primary ingredients of bacon and asparagus, you're free to add whatever you'd like to suit your tastes.

-1 pizza crust
-6 strips of bacon
-1 cup asparagus, chopped
-1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese
-1 cup marinara sauce
-1 tomato, sliced
To start, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Pat try on paper towels, then cut or crumble into small pieces. Set aside for later.
Take the pizza crust and evenly spread the marinara sauce until it reaches the edges of the crust. Next, apply the shredded mozzarella cheese. If you'd like, you can add some extra cheese or a completely different cheese altogether, such as provolone or cheddar.
Next, evenly distribute the asparagus, bacon, and sliced tomato over the crust. Once it's ready, toss it into an oven pre-heated to 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese has melted.
