To make this tasty pizza, you will need the following ingredients, adapted from the recipe found here::
-1 large pizza crust
-1/3 pound of shrimp, deveined and peeled
-Cajun seasoning
-1-2 tsp. of olive oil
-1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese
-1/2 cup of pizza sauce
To start, you need to take that shrimp and make it all Cajun-y. To do this, combine the shrimp, olive oil, and Cajun seasoning in a bowl and mix well. Once it’s well coated, put those bad boys in a pan coated with olive oil and cook for a few minutes on each side. They should be slightly opaque. Remove and let cool.
Next, take crust and cover with the pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese. After this, evenly distribute the shrimp over the top of the pizza, along with whatever toppings you choose. To add to the Cajun flavor, caramelized onions and chopped bell peppers are always a nice addition.
Bake in an oven pre-heated to 375 degrees and remove when the cheese is slightly bubbly and the crust nice and crispy. Remove when ready, let cool, slice, and enjoy!
