When it comes to pizzas, nothing beats the tried and true plain cheese pizza. A favorite of picky eaters and Kevin McAllister from the “Home Alone” films, it’s the type of pizza everyone can enjoy. It’s also incredibly simple to make! A cheese pizza recipe is simply a combination of a crust of your choosing and whatever cheeses you like. That’s right, it’s not relegated to boring ol’ mozzarella. Cheddar, gruyere, brie, ricotta, bleu cheese, and so much more can be used to top your trusty cheese pizza and give it a unique recipe.

To make a cheese pizza, all you will need are the following ingredients:
Pizza crust, homemade or store bought
Equal parts (about ¼ cup) of your favorite cheeses, enough to cover the entire pizza
Marinara sauce
Oregano
Olive Oil
To start, you’re going to want to take your crust and lightly brush it with olive oil. Next, take your marinara sauce and liberally apply it to the crust. Then, take all of the cheeses and mix them together in a bowl. Once thoroughly mixed, cover the pizza crust with the cheeses.
Place the pizza on a pizza pan that is either greased or covered with parchment paper. Parchment paper will yield a crispier crust. Put the pizza into an oven preheated to 400 degrees and bake for approximately 10-12 minutes. Once it’s out, you can top with parmesan cheese for a little extra kick.
