Chocolate Pizza Dough

Start making a dessert pizza from the basics. Here is how to make a chocolate pizza dough.. From there, get yourself creative and dance your heart away into the chocolate goodness!



2 c flour

1 package of pizza crust yeast

2 1/4 tablespoons of sugar

3 tablespoons of coco

2/3 c of hot water

1 tablespoon of melted butter

3/4 tablespoons of salt



1.       Combine  1/2 c flour, sugar, salt, yeast, and coco in to a large mixing bowl. Slowly add your hot water and stir until everything is well blended.  Keep adding flour 1/2 c at a time until your dough starts to form. Once you have a sticky yet elastic consistency take your dough to a well floured station and knead it for about five minutes. This should smooth it out, however, do not over knead because you will destroy the gluten strands.

2.       When you are ready to eat pat your dough out on a well floured pan. Bake at 425ºF for about 12-15 minutes and top with your favorite fruit, candy, or dessert topping and serve.
