Confit Garlic

When pizza is based on garlic, this confit garlic recipe would come perfect to make the garlic taste even more on the dish. So prepare your own just like this recipe from Go Make Me who vouches that its worth the effort!

1 cup of fresh garlic cloves
1 cup of olive oil

  1. Heat in a small saucepan for an hour over a very low heat. Don't let it boil. Let cool in the saucepan and transfer garlic and oil in sterlised jars. It should keep for up to 3 months 
  2. Use it on pizzas, spread on crusty bread or use in any cooking where you want to infuse a garlic flavour. Use the oil for salad dressings and pastas too.
