Typically relegated to the role of side dish, garlic bread doesn't get enough respect in the world of pizza. While it's incredibly popular, it's rarely used to make delicious pizzas, serving as a base for a cheesy, garlic-y, and incredibly tasty alternative to typical dough.
While you can easily buy some Texas Toast from the grocery store and load it up with pizza toppings, the frozen nature of the bread takes away from the taste of using fresh garlic and other spices to make one of the best treats around.

To make a Garlic Bread Sourdough Pizza, you will need the following ingredients:
-4 large pieces of sourdough bread
-2 tbsp. of butter
-1 tbsp. of minced garlic
-1 tsp. of paprika
-1 tsp. Italian seasoning
-1 cup of shredded mozzarella
-1 cup of marinara sauce
-4 large slices of pepperoni
To start, melt the butter and garlic in a small bowl and mix thoroughly. Once it's mixed, spread the mixture over the four pieces of sourdough bread. Once covered, top with the paprika and Italian seasoning.
Next, apply the marinara, then the shredded cheese, then place a single large pepperoni in the center of each piece. Arrange on a piece of parchment paper on a pizza plate and put in an oven pre-heated to 375 degrees. Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes or until the bread is crispy and the cheese bubbly. Remove and enjoy!
And that's it! It's incredibly simple to make, and provides a tasty flavor most regular pizzas lack.
