A Greek pizza has two distinctions: its crust and its toppings. While the latter is comprised of traditional Greek toppings - feta cheese, tomatoes, kalamata olives - the former involves the way the crust is made. Depending on your rigid definition of Greek pizza, a ‘Greek pizza’ can include one or the other, or both, to achieve such a distinction. Greek immigrants who own pizza restaurants refer to the method of making the crust - baked in a pan with lots of oil - as traditional Greek pizza, while almost everyone else refers to the toppings. As such, this recipe for a Greek pizza will involve a variety of ‘Greek’ toppings to create a flavorful and unique pizza.

To start, cook the chicken in a medium saucepan covered in oil until thoroughly cooked. Cut into small pieces and set aside. Next, take the pizza crust and lightly brush olive oil over it, then cover with mozzarella cheese. make sure the cheese covers the crust entirely. Next, sprinkle the seasonins - garlic, oregano, basil - over the cheese, followed by the remaining toppings. All of these should be evenly distributed, as the last thing you want to do is take a bite and leave with a massive hunk of garlic in your mouth. Place the pizza in an oven pre-heated to 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is completely melted. Once done, remove from the oven and let cool. Cut into slices, serve, and enjoy!(Source 1 2) (Photo)
