Breakfast pizza is a favorite among those who strive to get creative with pizza night. Typically made with a standard pizza crust, the toppings are of the “breakfast” variety - eggs, bacon, sausage crumbles, potatoes, and much more - and it’s a fun way to try something new. While regular pizza dough is all well and good, sometimes you just gotta try something new. Why not hash browns? It’s easy, and due to the versatility of potatoes, you can use any toppings you’d like to make a wholly unique concoction.

For this pizza, you will need the following ingredients:
-1 bag of hash browns, thawed
-1 can of cheddar cheese soup
-1 egg
-1 pepperoni link
-1/2 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
-3/4 cup of marinara sauce
To start, mix together the hash browns, egg, and cheese soup in a large bowl until well-mixed. Scrape into a greased pizza pan and press down until the entire thing forms a crust. Bake at 375 degrees for about 20-25 minutes, or until the mix has become crispy enough and the hash browns are completely cooked. Remove and let cool.
Next, chop up the pepperoni link into thick slices. Set aside. Cover the hash brown crust with marinara sauce, followed by the cheese and the pepperoni slices. Pop back in the over and cook until the cheese has sufficiently melted
If you’d like, you can mix things up and add more toppings, such as scrambled eggs, sauce, and bacon to make a real breakfast pizza. You can also use a creamy gravy sauce typically used on biscuits as a base to make a tried and true breakfast pizza. It may not be healthy, but it certainly is tasty.
