Hummus Pizza

Hummus is a versatile ingredient in many recipes. Here it replaces the typical red sauce in a pizza, making for a unique twist on the traditional.

1 – 10 ounce can refrigerated pizza dough

1 cup hummus spread

1 ½ cups sliced bell peppers, any color

1 cup broccoli florets

2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
  2. Roll out pizza crust. Place on pizza pan or baking sheet. Spread thin layer of hummus over the crust. Arrange peppers and broccoli across the hummus. Top with shredded cheese.
  3. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted in the center. Slice and serve.
