Hummus is a versatile ingredient in many recipes. Here it replaces the typical red sauce in a pizza, making for a unique twist on the traditional.
1 – 10 ounce can refrigerated pizza dough
1 cup hummus spread
1 ½ cups sliced bell peppers, any color
1 cup broccoli florets
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Preheat oven to 475 degrees.
- Roll out pizza crust. Place on pizza pan or baking sheet. Spread thin layer of hummus over the crust. Arrange peppers and broccoli across the hummus. Top with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 10 to 15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted in the center. Slice and serve.
