Mediterranean Pizza Sauce

The great thing about a pizza sauce is the fact that it has a lot of uses. From being a pizza sauce, to being a dip or even a soup, any pizza sauce recipe could be good for just about anything and its healthy too! Here's one from PizzaOven that is guaranteed healthy: 
2 teaspoons of extra-virgin olive oil
11/2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 c diced white onion
pinch of salt
1/4 tablespoon of tomato paste
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of fresh basil chopped
1 tablespoon of chopped marjoram (sub w/ sage, thyme, or oregano if not available)
10 oz tomato sauce (5 tomatoes steamed, skinned, and pureed)
1 teaspoon of cooking wine


Put ingredients in a pan and simmer on low for 2 hours stirring frequently.
