Personal Pizzas Recipe

Created by Kate Merker back in 2007, this pizza recipe can be made within ten minutes and will serve 4 hungry people. Its most unusual feature is the baguette or loaf of Italian bread that serves as the crust. It will cost you 496 calories and 9 grams of fat per serving.



1 baguette or loaf Italian bread, halved lengthwise

1/2 to 1 cup pasta sauce

1/8 pound Genoa salami, thinly sliced

 1 cup fresh spinach

2/3 cup ricotta

1 cup (4 ounces) shredded mozzarella

1/2 cup  (2 ounces) grated Parmesan


1. Heat oven to 425° F.

2. Place the bread on a baking sheet, cut-side up. Spoon the sauce over the top.

3. Place the salami on half the bread and the spinach on the other half.

4. Top both halves with spoonfuls of ricotta and sprinkle with the mozzarella and Parmesan.

5. Bake until the cheeses are melted, 5 to 7 minutes. Cut into pieces.
