Pesto adds a traditional Italian flavor to any pizza. This version uses just four simple ingredients and is quick to prepare.
1 (10 oz) pizza crust – (such as Boboli)
3 tablespoons commercial pesto
1 ¾ cups slices of plum tomato (1/4 inch thick slices)
1 cup (4 oz) shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- Preheat over to 450.
- Place crust on baking pan. Spread pesto on top in a thin layer. (There may be some bare spots). Leave a 1-inch border. Arrange tomato slices in a single layer on top of the pesto, then sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake at 450 for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
