Pizza Pasta

Pizza is staple, pasta is staple and good food means filling up with good tasting carbohydrates that is attractive to kids and adults. This recipe from pizza oven brings us a combination of the two best staple food we all know very well and this dish tastes really awesome!  

 

Ingredients:


8 oz rotini pasta

5 eggs

28 oz of Pizza sauce

8 oz Mozzarella cheese

1/2 teaspoon of black pepper

1 package of Pepperoni  slices (30 slices)

1 1/2 c of Parmesan cheese

 

Directions:


  1. You will want to bake your dish in a 9 x 13 baking dish that has been coated with a non-stick spray.
  2. Pre-heat your oven to 400ºF
  3. Cook pasta according to directions, once drained set aside.
  4. Beat eggs in a large mixing bowl then add Parmesan, pepper, and a pinch of your Mozzarella cheese then stir together. Slowly add in your pasta coating pasta with mixture.
  5. Pour your pasta into your greased baking dish. Pour your pizza sauce over the top of your pasta then place almost all of your pepperoni on top; leave a few out to place on top for an appealing visual look. Top with Mozzarella cheese and remaining pepperonis.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbling and starts to brown.
  7. For a nice spin, drizzle with a small amount of ranch dressing.
