Spinach Crust Pizza Recipe
One of the more difficult aspects of low-carb dieting is getting enough veggies. Many practitioners simply don’t like vegetables, or they find that meat and cheese is good enough for them, thus ensuring they don’t get enough nutrients. Thankfully, many vegetables are incredibly versatile, and for pizza lovers, they make outstanding crust replacements. While many prefer cauliflower crust pizza due to it being handled just like normal pizza, one of the better ways to get veggies in your diet with the distinct taste of pizza comes in the form of a spinach crust pizza.

To make a spinach crust pizza, you will need the following ingredients:
-1 cup of fresh spinach
-1 egg
-1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
-1/2 tsp. of basil, oregano, Italian seasoning
Using a food processor, chop up the spinach until fine. In a large bowl, combine the spinach with the remaining ingredients, mixing until well blended. It should resemble a ball of green, goopy dough.
Take the spinach ball and spread on a pan covered in parchment paper. The parchment paper will ensure a crispier crust, and prevent it from being so wet on the bottom.
Put in an oven pre-heated to 400 degrees and bake for about 15-20 minutes. At about the halfway point, carefully flip over the crust to ensure maximum crispiness on each side.
Once it’s sufficiently crispy, remove and top with the toppings of your choice. Place back in the over and cook until the cheese is completely melted.
