To make a Turkish pizza, you will need the following ingredients:

-1 pizza crust
-1 chopped onion
-2 crushed cloves of garlic
-1 ½ cups of ground lamb
-3/4 cup of crumbled feta cheese
-2 tbsp. of marinara sauce
-1 tbsp. of olive oil
-2 tbsp. of pine nuts
-Spices: coriander, cumin, parsley

While it may be difficult, this recipe typically calls for Turkish bread to be used instead of run-of-the-mill pizza crust; however, if you find it difficult to find this at your local grocery store, then a regular pizza crust will do.

To start, fill a pan with olive oil and place over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion and sautee until lightly browned.

Next, add the cumin and coriander, followed by the ground lamb. Cook until brown, then add the nuts and parsley.

While this is cooling, spread the marinara sauce over the dough, followed by the meat mix and the feta cheese. Once the toppings have been added, bake in an oven pre-heated to 375 degrees for 10-15 minutes.

A great thing about this pizza is that you can add in other traditional toppings if you so desire, or eliminate some to suit your tastes.
