Waffle Pizza Sandwiches

Need a super quick pizza recipe which is easy to eat and to carry to work? Here's a cool recipe from 360 Family Nutrition that features only 4 ingredients, a waffle iron and a couple of minutes of your time. Of course, you can still customize this according to your needs! 

2 slices low calorie whole wheat bread
1/4 cup reduced fat mozzarella cheese
1-2 tablespoons pizza sauce
2-3 leaves fresh basil
Optional: additional pizza toppings

1. Turn waffle iron on to medium heat
2. spread desired amount of pizza sauce on one slice of bread and place on waffle iron; top with cheese and basil; add other slice of bread
3. close waffle iron and cook for about 5 minutes or until sandwich is browned
