Just last night i stopped in after seeing the guys out by the road. I found the best pizza in rockford. Sounds like a chain but when i walked in their just a couple guys making really good pizza. You should check it out if you like pizza.

Staff is friendly, pizza is very good, after 2 visits they know your name.

I didn't think I could like this place any less until they had all their negative reviews removed. I think it is only fair for people to know my experience was BAD! 1st they crammed the pizza into a box that was too small. The pizza was bent up the side of the box making for a sloppy fork and knife pizza and poor presentation. A little perturbed I ignored it and figured a good pizza will erase my initial displeasure. Well the pizza was just BAD. The Beef on the cheesey beef pizza resembled dehydrated beef or jerky and the giardinera wasn't very flavorful. The sauce wasn't anything to write home about and the crust was bleh. The price on the specialty pizza wasn't fantastic either. I really wanted to like this place being that it is in my neighborhood but sorry they failed on all levels.

We have Pizza from here once a week. It is very good with friendly service. We kept trying other places in the area until Itzza Pizza opened. We have always had great service and great pizza from Itzza Pizza so we won't go anywhere else.
