Great and GREASY Pizza!! just like I like it! So many ex NY'ers complain about the Pizza in the Burg, I am so sick of hearing about it. Just be thankful you have a place like this to get your fix. I am from the Midwest where the BEST pizza is... and I can't get a stuffed slice around here to save my life. SO SHUTTA UP and stuff your mouth with a piece of Fortunato's.. it's good. I just wish they would bring back the portabella sandwiches.. Those were the BOMB!

Saint Petersburg's BEST pizza: Fortunato's is a must try when in the St Pete area. The owner, Shawn, is always there. There is no word in the UNabridged Dictionary to fully and honestly express how good thier pizza tastes. They make every pizza from scratch; making sure to use FRESH veggies and homemade tomato sause. If you are ever in the St Pete area, tell them Dallas Walker from Cactus Beach Radio refered you to them. You will be glad you did.

Fortunato's Italian Market Pizza carries on an age old St Petersburg tradition of having poor tasting pizza. Is there any place that serves a good pie in this whole town? To be fair it is the best tasting pizza I've had in St. Pete, but that's no great feat. As any one who's ever lived elsewhere can tell you. called in a 18" sausage pizza on a Friday evening around 5:30 Pizza was $18.00, + had to pay $10 for a parking spot to pick the pizza up (3 minutes of parking) The pizza had real sausage, but very little of it. Very little cheese or sauce. It was above average tasting for St. Pete, Yet Below average for places like NY, Pittsburgh, Chicago, Philly etc... Grand total $28.00 for a pizza that should be priced around $11.00

Good Enough by St. Pete Standards: News for all dear native Floridians. Pizza in New York, whether it be in Manhattan, Albany, Rochester, Buffalo etc., simply dominates in taste over anything you can get in these parts. But cynicism (and homesickness) aside Fortunato's has a good lunch menu, friendly hardworkingf staff, and reasonable prices. I cannot think of a better place in this area, even if it is not New York.

Always get a good product in St pete beach when Jerry is there, beware when other family members and staff are there without him, product is not good and service is rude.

MYSTIC Pizza, remember that movie with Julia Roberts? This is that pizza :) I have been going to this place for years and years and the one thing I can say that never changes is the taste and quality of their food :) I have traveled all around the world from USA and Canada, Mexico and Europe, Bahama's and the UK and this is one of the VERY BEST pizza's I have ever had. The place is clean, friendly atmosphere and I always feel like the only customer in the place :) Don't let the name discourage you, they sell stuff too but this is AN AUTHENTIC ITALIAN RESTAURANT and they know how to do it RIGHT :) I tell everyone I know about this place. What's in the pizza? FRESH ingredients guaranteed and something, well a little Mystic :))) It's awesome and I recommend it to everyone :) Susie

Biggest Pizza Slices Ever!: They're pizza is super great. The slices are so big you got to fold them in half just to take a bite. Plus, they aren't too expensive. Great place to eat and good pricing.

There have been a lot of great changes to the look of fortunato's, but the food still has the same great taste. I was amazed when I walked in, there was more seating then ever and the art work on the walls looks great. It brings you back to when you were little going with your family to an italian restaurant. I of course ordered my favorite item, the steak and cheese sub. It was more than enough for two people and it was covered in cheese just the way I like it. I just want to say thanks, I had a wonderful experience and would be back for more.

Simply the best!: We visited St.Pete last summer and stumbled upon Fortunato's. Wow! The best pizza ever! My six year old son still talks about the garlic knots and the "best pizza" he has ever had. We are spending spring break in Orlando and flying into Tampa. Our first stop is Fortunato's- It is completly out of our way, but it is well worth it. The owner is also very friendly and we loved the atmosphere.

Just add chicken! The chicken parm sub and an order of curly fries worked just fine the chunk chicken breast mixing perfectly with Fortunato's tasty marinara and mozzarella. We split the fries and were back on the road $15 lighter.

Love the pie and it is one of our favorite places to go on a weekend when you have the munchies. The only thing that I can think of improving is to get some kegs hooked up to their taps. It's a real tease to see the taps on first friday and not be able to get a draft beer. However the band that plays on that night is really good.

This is one of those places that makes pizza in advanced and lets it sit out until some hungry drunk comes along and asks for a slice to be reheated. It's like Sbarros but way worse. I just don't like these type of pizza joints I like my pizza to be fresh and well made. Go to Joey Brooklyns around the corner instead.

Ah the indignities we'll endure in the name of free food. After that the grilled tropical wings will be available in your choice of five piece ($3.59) or eight piece ($6.59 includes a choice of two regular sides) portions.
