Crust - Bottom = Good Thin and consistent throughout. Not as flexile as NY, but no one's is here! Crust - Edge = Poor No spring, bounce, airiness or flavor. Stiff and flat. Sauce - Good A little overspiced. Cheese - Good. A little too cincy with it though! For San Antonio, it's up there with the better ones. No one makes a great one here though.

Each Pizza is hand-tossed and carefully baked with eaither 2 people working on it- My uncle, the owner, or my dad, and sometimes he hires someone else, or just my uncle. Friendly, good pizza. best pizza place you'll ever go to.

My family and I have true patrons of Sapore's since its opening. If you're looking for true authentic Italian pizza this place is it. The owner Giuseppe is a native of Naples and worked in nyc so he is more than experienced; he is a friendly caring person and knows our family by name and order:) Best pizza in San Antonio bar none.

Best Pizza in Town: Sapores is a small place but the taste is huge, this is the best pizza since the New York style pizzaria that that was near the Majestic downtown years ago. If anyone remembers. Its authentic flavor is awesome. Anyone who loves pizza needs to try it they sell it by the slice as well. Inexpensive, great place.

Best Pizza and Tiramisu in Town Definitely: This is by far the best New York Style Pizza that I have tasted in this town. The place is not big, but it is definitely big on taste.....

Pizza sauce has no flavor and too bland. I tried it a few times but just dont like it. OH and talk about being tight with the toppings, I thought some of the big chains were tight. I think I had a piece of pepperoni on each slice...LOL

A perfect, thin, crispy crust every time, that's so lightweight that you keep wanting more. A San Antonio treasure that has served the St. Mary's College community and neighborhood for years. Sapores Pizza is the best pizza in San Antonio! The owner is a real nice guy and you can tell he loves his job. The place is always clean when I go in, and to me and my family that is the one of the most important qualities. My wife and I love the pizza from here and my son can make the spaghetti disappear. LOL. This is a great place to take your family and enjoy a great dinner and have a beer or wine, away from all those plane fast food places. I would recommend everyone to try this place at least once. This is not your ordinary pizza place, try the different types of pizza see what its like to eat a real pizza, and donâ??t forget the tiramisu for dessert. You will not be disappointed

We drive all over the city looking a good New York style pizza. We recently drove over to Sapore's on Wed nite because of the all the good ratings they have received from others.
