Not much to say except â?? OUTSTANDING. My party of 4 had The Mountain, garlic Bread, and Ravioli Marinara. Great atmosphere, great food, and a meal that hit the spot! I/We will definitely go back!

great pizza: I was just looking for a quick bite and got some of the best pizza I have had in awhile. It was so good I went back even though I was only in town for a few days. If you are looking for really thin crust "sbarro style" new york pizza this is not it. I can't wait till I move out there so I don't have to eat the crap they pass off as pizza in Florida. ps: the pasta dishes I saw others eating looked pretty good but I only had the pizza.

The pizza here is very tasty and the service is excellent! We had the Red Eye and I think it's called the Monster (the first one on the list), and devoured both. The pizza is thin crust so if you like the doughy, thick crust be warned.

Worst service ever.....also Times must be getting tough for my neighborhood pizzeria..... I tried to order a pizza for delivery and they must be short staffed or something, because they kept putting me on hold. and I tried three times. That is poor business, I will just call North Beach Pizza from now on....they were great, and the pizza's better anyway.

Vito's Pizza is the best pizza in the city. The staff is friendly and the restaurant itself is clean. I don't know why it only has 3 stars from other reviewers they must have been drunk while reviewing. Never drink and review kids.

Wanted something to take back to the hotel room and normally I love Eggplant Parmigian but I discovered mostly just cheese and only a tiny amount of soggy eggplant. We also ordered the meat lasagna and I'm guessing they must have given us the vegetarian version because we couldn't find any meat in it. The garlic bread was over toasted and quite hard. We did get to see the twins of Nob Hill though as they were dining inside by the window. Perhaps that is why it was so crowded but it doesn't excuse the food. We were disappointed and not impressed.

Honestly where else in SF can you get a fresh-baked meatball or eggplant parmesan sandwich right out of a pizza oven for under $6?

The pizza had a crispy crust and warm melty feta over the spinach and tomatoes...very tasty. There was quite a crowd and I waited prob 20-25 minutes for the food...not excellent but very good...worth the wait for a good late night snack.

The plain cheese or pepperoni were consistently outstanding. Zippy sauce creamy cheese and amazingly yummy dough. Serious flavor in the dough. The veg pizza got too soggy on the trip back to my hotel so I stuck with the plain or single...
