This place is a rip off. You have to order 3 large pizza's in order for them to deliver to a company, BUT if you have the same order for your home, you can order anything you like, with no requirment of min. cost. No wonder people call Dominos.

I used to come here regularly when I had a friend working across the street. Now whenever I'm in that neighborhood, it's still my #1 lunch destination. The salad bar has a good enough selection to build a very nice salad; everything on it is very fresh--there's no having to pick out wilted lettuce. I just wish they also had French dressing among the choices. The pizza: Most recent visit, I had 1/2 Monterey garlic chicken and 1/2 creamy pesto chicken. The crust was crisp; the sauces were very flavorful--though I was still able to taste all the distinct toppings. The place is bright inside; the tables are clean; the employees are always friendly.

The pizza was very good! The crust was just perfect. My husband liked the leftovers too. :-) We got the vegetarian pizza. We both like a little more sauce on our pizza, but it was definitely the best pizza Iâ??d had in a long time.

THE BEST PIZZA IN TOWN & FRIENDLY SERVICE!: I happen to be somewhat of a fast food junkie and I've been to many pizza places thoughout my 35 yr life span. Honestly, this by far is the BEST pizza I have ever had! There is not doubt in my mind that they prepare their crust from scratch daily, if not hourly! The crust is just so fresh and flaky, not too flat, not to doughy, just plain goodness. Their toppings are fresh and they put together some of the best combinations. You can tell this place really puts in the extra care and effort in their food. They also have a fresh salad bar and they make some of the best ranch dressing I've ever had. I personally have seen the employess make the ranch dressing from scratch, with buttermilk etc... It's great for dipping your flaky pizza slices in. They also have some awesome buffalo wings and bacon/cheddar breadsticks! I try to eat their at least once a week. The company I work for, which is a large corporation just a mile away, has an account with Pizza California and it is an Office favorite for client-luncheons and pot lucks etc... Go to this place. You will NOT be disapointed. LOVE IT! Mmmmmmmmm..........

Very nice, mid- to upscale pizza joint. The garlic sauce and pesto pizzas were fantastic--nice change from the usual tomato-sauce-based pizzas. If you have time, better to order your pizza made fresh, since the by-the-slice slices aren't as crisp after sitting in the warming oven awhile. Otherwise, a pretty tasty pie. Salad bar was fresh, with lots of choices. I wish I still worked nearby...the place has never disappointed me!

Pizza, California style: Great pizza, great salads, great place, great staff. Makes you want to open one next to a beach somewhere.

Fantastic. The vegetarian options make my wife ecstatic. The sizes are not huge, but they are filling. The prices are a little high, but seemingly worth the freshness and quality. The garlic twists are also an excellent option.

The pizza is tasty and promptly served, the staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, the restaurant is clean and roomy, and they handled our large group gracefully. Overall a pleasure!

5 Stars - spacious seating, new clean facility, ample parking, excellent food and a California decor. A good choice when you are up for pizza, lunch or dinner. I especially like the photos of California scenes on the walls - nice touch. The owner pays attention to details

great pizza and salad: The pizza here is very good. The salad bar is also very fresh. It was here that I discovered how good pineapple tastes in salad. I usually get the lunch special (which runs all day lol), which is a slice of pizza, a salad and a soda.

This clean, well lighted establishment has the best vegetarian pizza I've ever had. BTW, I'm a meat eater, but almost always buy the "Hollywood" pizza when I eat there. It's that good. They also have a salad bar and a drink bar (unlimited soft drinks once you've purchased a cup). They have booths and tables and a small counter area for single dinners. BTW, you can buy pizza by the slice and there's a lunch combo, pizza, salad, and drink. Reasonable prices. The tables are kept clean, as are the restrooms. Just an all around nice pizza shop with great tasting pizza. What more could you ask for?

I called them for a delivery to my work and they said I had to order at least 2 large pizzas or it will be a $50 delivery charge. I will NEVER eat here nor will I recommend this pizza place to anyone I know!!!!

Awesome Old School Quality: In the midst of all the fast food places in San Jose one small independent pizza joint is standing out in the crowd. Pizza California (not to be confused with cal pizza kitchen) is a small pizza joint located in the PW Super Market strip mall complex off of Brokaw/Murphy. I have lunch there at least once a week and sometimes do take out for dinner. The thick crust style pizza is top quality. They are very generous with the toppings and the sauce is a perfect balance of herbs and spices. The value is in the quality they put into each slice. By the way they also have lunch specials $7.00 for a slice, salad & drink everyday. Great Tap Beer Selection, and the chicken wings are a wonderful starter or side dish. There's inside booth seating with several TV's going, News and Sports mostly. As well as outdoor seating with umbrellas at each table and music piped outside. The staff is very polite and helpful. I'm a serious chef as a hobby and appreciate good quality food. This place is a great find. If you are ever in the area and jonesing for a good slice of pizza take my advice and check out Pizza California. I know you'll Love it.
