Momo's step-father?: It's a dump but a GOOD dump! Very good pizza. There's some alleged connection to Momo's. Not sure if it's true but comparable if not identical menus, etc.

PLace is decent . They dont lie or mis-lead you at all. The pizza is real good and the atmosphere is mostly what I go for. The service is real friendly . The guys who work their remember my face and often we start off where a conversation left off weeks and sometimes months ago. That alone makes this place well worth it. Its not pricey at all and is a great idea for lunch. Another key factor is thats its local and not a chain so all the profit goes right back into tally and stuff. I like this place very much and so will you .

This is a two fold place for me. The food is very good. They use nice ingredients and there is something almost nostalgic about an open kitchen pizza parlor. The calzones are delicious as is the portion size and price of their menu. I would appreciate it slightly however if they would take the time to maybe clean the hood vents above the pizza oven. Maybe throw up a coat of paint and wipe the place down. Just becuase you are a local "hole in the wall" restaurant, doesn't mean you don't have to be clean. It is by no means so bad I won't come back. I eat at Decent Pizza regularly and enjoy it everytime, but I would like to see it get a little cleaner from time to time.

New King of the block!: D.P. (what the locals call it) is the new king of the block. Better than Momo's.

Probably the best pizza I have ever eaten.... and I have had the best from Chicago to New York City, Atlantic City & Philly too... plus the friendly staff and its a Female owned business!!! I wouldn't ever spend my money anywhere else. You people that have negative things to say probably own or work at Dominoes.... Decent Pizza has won Best in Tallahassee and Tally awards multiple years so obviously your not the knowledgeable connoisseur that you think you are :)

Best pizza in the Capital City: If it's great pizza you crave, then Decent Pizza is your place. I've found it to be the best independent pizza joint in town. Quality vs. Quantity, quality always wins in my book. I've had quantity and don't really care for it anymore. Decent Pizza is the Bomb!

decent pizza will always be better than momo's: Doug was the orignal creator of Momo's, and many more restaurants. He is a genius in the buisiness, where independents still rule the market. As much as he is crazy and abusive owner or boss. He gets the job done. The job being making the greatest pizza, with handles, even plateau pies, evenly spread with great sauce and cheese. He offers fresh and quality toppings, that are had to find anywhere else. Doug sold Momo's to a lawyer, years ago. It's quality has droppen without his supervision. It has dropped greatly. I never go there anymore when I visit. When I went to tallahassee, to hear he opened a new place was exciting. It rocked, but I expected nothing less. It's a local secret, but if you can find Doug, you can find the best pizza in town.

pretty bad, i gave it a second try, thinking perhaps, it was a different pizza maker, but, tasteless, and overpriced, rather go to village pizza, brookly pizza, or three brothers pizzeria, even dominio's brooklyn pizza is by far better..

Decent Pizza's ingredients have no flavor. Cheese is tasteless. Rummy's pizza and Red Elephant have more flavor. Village Pizza is very good. This town needs a TRUE Northeastern, Italian pizza maker.

I the kind of person who can eat pizza everyday so one of the first places I had to find when moving up here was a good pizza joint. In the three weeks I have been here I have tried five places and this by far has been the best. I've gone traditional each time pepperoni and cheese no additional fuss and just really like the spices they use in their sauce the mozzarella seems fresh and their thin light crust (so that you don't fill up on bread and can eat more slices). As I was leaving I saw a creative pizza a couple had ordered that looked like feta cheese chicken and spinach on it so they do cater to the more adventurous at heart. Oh and they give raw dough to the kids to play with as well so it's a good spot for kids too.

The positive reviews are inexplicable. Always cold always cracker-like crust always poor-quality sauce and cheese. I am dumbfounded by the lack of taste some Tallahasseans have.
