We're going back tonight!: We love Cappy's. It is our Sunday Night Family Tradition. Experience, Feel, everything in there makes the atmosphere great. AND THE FOOD IS INCREDIBLE BEYOND ANYTHING ELSE. We love that they now have TWO locations. Good Luck Cappy's. Keep Growing!

Great neighborhood pizzeria in Palma Ceia Park. Yes, there is usually a wait. Because they are always maxed out. I usually just call ahead for take out. The staff is polite and efficient, & you can't expect anything more in a place like this. I've watched them at work - and I assure you - they work their @zzes off here! There's just no time to chit-chat and fawn all over you. And personally, I THANK THEM for that. Because it gets me out the door sooner with my luscious NY style thin crust pepperoni. Which BTW is even more heavenly reheated the next day in a cast iron skillet! Fan for life here.

the best stuffed Chicago style pizza there is. The staff can be a little laid back, if you are looking for fast food service go to Pizza Hut.

Hated it: Nice place and good atmosphere but the pizza had too much cheese and had the nastiest tasting sauce. The prices were rather steep also. Not going back

Good stuff if you're local. Inexpensive. Eat in or take out.

I am shocked to read some of the the poor reviews of Cappy's, especially the review by BIgMan. I think Cappy's is the best pizza in town! The Greek salad is awesome and the diet Coke from the fountain machine is positively addictive .All of my friends have been to Cappy's and agree. I have never had an issue with the staff and as for the parking , get over it ! BigMan obviously has a chip on his shoulder about something and I suspect it has nothing to do with the pizza!

Do not go here! I repeat... DON NOT GO HERE. I waited by the front door for 10 mins. w/ my girlfriend, nothing. So I walked towards the Kitchen and stood, once again, nothing. The place is staffed w/ pathetic hippie's who smell like sh!t and Patchouli oil. What a dump.

Food was average, and a long wait at the weekend for a table. Atmosphere was very good

I lovee Cappy's. The pizza is inexpensive and delicious. I'm suprized by some of the negative reviews. I have never had my car towed, ticketed, or had problems with parking. The only complaint about Cappy's is that the waitresses do have the tendency to not be incredibly friendly or talkative, but the atmosphere is still fun and warm. All in all, the service could use some work, but the food is absolutely yummy. I have been my fair share of times, and have never been dissapointed by the pizza. Oh, and don't forget to bring cash because they don't take cards. :)

Fantastic: Cappys in Hyde Park is the best pizza I have ever had - you must try it - and it won't break the bank!

Are you people kidding me? Do you people get out of town much? I can't speak for Cappy's NY style pizza but here's my opinion on the Chicago style. Without a doubt, one the 3 or 4 worst pizzas I have ever tried in my life. The sauce is Ragu, Prego or something else out of a jar. The crust is like cardboard. I've never had such a thin "stuffed" pizza in my life either. I expected a lot going in but I didn't even find it close to average. If you're ever in Oakland CA, go to Zachary's Pizza to see what good Chicago-style pizza tastes like. It's better than any pie I've had in Chicago too. You'll wait an hour at least for a table any night of the week but you'll thank me. You'll also never eat at Crappy's again. I know I won't... By the way, I have no axe to grind with Cappy's but I'm just flabbergasted that people think this passes for good pizza let alone the best in town!

Best NY & Chicago Style Pizza: I love Cappy's NY style pizza! It's the BEST in Tampa. The Chicago is excellent, too, but I just like NY style best. Their sauce is delicious and you can taste how fresh the dough is. It's also a great value. Try their greek salad if you go - it rocks.

A small restaurant that is packed with personality and flavor. The deep dish pizza is excellent as all of the ingredients taste fresh. Of course make sure to grab a bottle of beer from the large beer cooler to enjoy while waiting for your table. Bring your appetite because the pizza is huge!

This cool local joint serves up pizza pies to a hungry neighborhood crowd. Make no mistake you're here for the pizza whether you go for the New York or the Chicago deep dish.

This is bar none the best pizza anywhere. But it's not Ci-Cis so if you want fast food pizza skip Cappy's. Plus you get a lot of food for your money. The Calzone can easily feed two. You can tell Cappy's is the result of hard work and great care by the owners.

Cappy's has crappy parking and a chaotic interior but the pizza is worth the hassle. We arrived one evening planning to grab a seat at the bar get a beer then order a pizza to take home. We arrived squeezed into a tiny parking space...
