Delish: I'm Italian and hard to please when it comes to good Italian food. I really enjoyed this place. The service was fast and friendly. Portion size was great. The atmosphere was pleasant.

My number one hot spot!!!!!: I loved this place! I go here all the time. There is nothing negative to say... the food is A+ the atmosphere terrific and what you get more than your money's worth from any menu item. Highly recommend. There is one is Tempe and one in Scottsdale. Both are awesome - however, I am partial tothe Scottsdale location for some unknown reason. -Joy

Excellent!: I've been going to Oregano's for 7 years and I have never gotten anything but excellent service and food. I recommend it to people all the time. The Big Rig Pasta is to die for!

Best Italian for Everyone: Not only is the thin crust pizza great but they also make the best deep dish pizza. Not into pizza? Then try their salads. The salads are huge and great for sharing. I especially love the Beefstro Salad. Let's not forget the different pasta dishes, the oven baked sandwiches and chicken wings. And to top it all off, the Original Pizza Cookie with Vanilla Ice Cream. This is great place for groups of people and share. Be warned, this is not a place for a quick meal. Perfect place to sit back and socialize with your friends.

Best pizza and salad place ever!: This is the BEST pizza place I've ever been to! The staff is amazingly friendly! The Chicago style pizza is the BEST you could ever have, anywhere! The cookie dough dessert is absolutely heavenly!!! Their salads are also to die for! They have a Mexican Picasso salad that is to die for! This is my favorite place in the entire world--and I've been to Rome, Venice and Paris! There should be hundreds more of this restaurant! I absolutely love going there! Staff, value, taste, ambiance are all 5 star--meaning the BEST!

I don't know what to start with, the food, ambiance, service, menu! Everything here is top notch. The food in original and fresh to order. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The outside Patio is wonderful with a true Bistro feel. We take family and friends here often and the family style servings are always a great option. Try this restaurant and you will definitely be hooked!

Simply Amazing: I recently moved to the valley from the chicago area. Coming from the pizza capital of the world i was a bit skeptical when recommended Oregano's. Locals told tales first class service meeting the finest pizza around. Fully expecting to be disappointed, I left astonished. Oregano's was the greatest tasting pizza I had yet encountered. The service was amazing and the price was much lower than anticipated. I felt as though I too, had been enlightened unto some sort of well kept secret. Now everytime family or friends come to visit I am sure to take them out for a pizza then wont soon forget. That being said, I will be the first to admit that the wait times can be a bit overwhelming to newcomers. It all makes sense in the end though. Everyone wants a little slice of heaven.... you might just have to plan a little ahead.

Oregano's is at best average pizza. You read comments all the time about how great this place is or that place. The fact is many people have no idea what good pizza is. I grew up in the Bronx. I left when I was 18 to attend ASU. For the first 18 years of my life the basis of my diet were slices of pizza. With that said, I have had the Oregano's thin crust. It's crust is like that of matzah. Thier sauce is okay and thier cheese is below average. They do have a good selection of toppings and the pies are quite large for the money. Oregano's just makes an average pizza in Arizona and would garner 0 stars in NY.

Do not mistake this place for an Italian eatery, but it can be considered as American with Italian influenced cuisine. Its nice for a family dinner, or a date, they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Their pizzas and pastas range from regular to lower than average. Their salads are very creative, festive, and range in a big variety. I totally recommend ordering a salad to share for starters and you must try their cookie (pie) ice-cream dessert. YUMMY

Really Great Food: This is the best pizza you'll find in all of Arizona. Be sure to save room for the pizza cookie desert too.

Oregano's - A Great Experience - A Good Price: It's rather simple to say that I enjoyed the food in Oregano's, and it's just as easy to say that the servers are friendly and caring about your experience. And it's even easy to say that that Oregano's is one of the better places to get a pizza in the East Valley... but none of those statements really does it justice. Our first experience at Oregano's was at the Southern/Dobson Rd. branch with a great server. She was very friendly, never let our drinks run low, came by to chat and see how we were doing frequently, and even after the food arrived, she seemed to want to know what we were thinking about the food and the service. She took the time to tell us about the different dishes when we were deciding what we wanted, and she gave us a heads up as to the cooking time for everything... after all, we were on a time budget and we couldn't be there for more than an hour and a half or so. We ordered a simple Pepperoni Pan Pizza, but ordered it with the thin-crust sauce and without tomato chunks cooked into it because I'm not a fan of thick sauce or too much tomato. After a half-hour wait, with our server constantly checking in on us, chatting with us, and generally making our experience fantastic, out comes this gigantic, deep dish pepperoni pizza. The scent alone was enough to drive any pizza fanatic off the deep end. When I tasted it, and I say this with an apology for the phrase, it was like biting into a small slice of heaven. And if that's not enough, on one of our subsequent visits, we ordered the pizza cookie... let's just say I don't reccomend ordering it if you haven't saved some space. It's a deep dish, chocolate chip cookie smothered in vanilla ice cream and nice and gooey on the inside, baked with a pizza crust. It's so rich, the first bite seems more than enough for the entire week's worth of deserts. In conclusion, I have to say that Oregano's is one of the best places in the valley to eat at, especially if you're in the mood for a delicious pan pizza. It has also been my experience that their other food items are well prepared and just as tasty as the pizza, but I've never been able to go there without craving the pan pizza.

AWESOME, Best Food & Experience in Phx area: I've been to this location and others and there is no better Italian food experience. From the food, service, quality, quantity (whoa baby watch out) and the dessert - which is worth its value in Weight Watcher points this restaurant is my #1 recommendation.

My family and I love to go to Oregano's: Oregano's always gives great service to their customers. I have never had one bad experience there. That is one reason why I love go to there, everyone greets you when you come and they greet you when you leave. The servers always have smiles on their faces so they make you smile. I love the food, Oreganos is the only restuarant that I go and I have more than one favorite on the menu and they have the best marigatas in all of phoenix. And there prices are great. I have plans to go their for my birthday this year.

Rude welcome: Yesterday evening,July 2, we wanted to try Oreganos Mesa, we were told there was a 45 mn wait for Inside( almost nobody stood in line there were 3 tables waiting to be cleaned),but not outside as long a table was available and so we did accompanied by a nice waiter ...until 5 mn later some manager came and said there we had to wait 45 mn too ( there were also 3 tables free ??) and 2 hours for inside seating and that it was quite normal for his place as the best time to come was between 2 and 4 pm , he then insists we should check on the wait list for the next 2 hours which we decline and that seems to really upset him .We evidently left and this was the rudest attitude we have encountered in a restaurant

Yum, Yum: Oregano's in Tempe is an excelent place for pasta. The portions are huge and very tasty. The service is outstanding. If there is something wrong with the item you ordered, the staff and management will make it right. Also, when the time for dessert comes, make sure you order the Bazookie! It is heavenly!

the best dessert, ever.: The pizza cookie: so simple, yet so delicious. It's a beautiful thing. Besides that, I always get the Bistro Classic pizza; sometimes with a salad. I have been so satisfied with these few things that I've rarely tried much else. We always take people visiting from out of town to Oregano's, and they always want to go again.

Mesa location is tops: I've visited Oregano's in Tempe twice, both times have been a negative experience. First Tempe visit was on a Sunday night. Our party of 8 waited 60 minutes, only to be left waiting for another 45 minutes because the party listed in front of us added more people to their table at the last second. Our dinner was complimentary because of their blunder but the pizza was not worth our time. We would've left a number of times but we were lead to believe that we would be seated 'soon' three times. My 2nd visit was 2 years later (2 nights ago), a Saturday night at almost 10:00. The host found us a booth inside after only 10 minutes. After that the service went downhill. We had to 'look' for the waitress any time we needed something. Pizza toppings were good, but the crust can't handle them. The appetizers were good. Visited Mesa location a month ago on a busy night and the hostess and waiter were very efficient and helpful, the pasta dishes were wonderful and overall service was great. From now on: Mesa location and non-pizza dishes only.

A great place to socialize with friends and family. The food is fanstatic, portion is perfect for the price! The food is fantastic no matter what you get. It may get crowded, you may have to wait a while but in the end its all worth the wait. The atmosphere is beautiful and I recommend going to everyone!

good food, but every time I go the Phoenix location the cups are dirty and I have to ask for another one. Iâ??ve had to walk out a few times because of the awful service. One time my boyfriend and I waited for about 50 min in the hot august sun only to be seated after 3 parties that showed up after us who did not have reservations, the worst service ever! The manager was a complete loser she had no idea what was going on.....

My husband and I ate at the Oregano's in Scottsdale during our house hunting trip and were very disappointed. We both grew up in Chicago and although we like thin crust pizza in addition to deep dish, we did not like the pizza at Oregano's. We would recommend Grimaldi's.

We'll drive 8 hrs to go....: Live in Santa Fe and just love Oregano's. Every time we go to Phoenix area we have to have a couple meals there. Not only is their pizza better than anything we've found in NM, (Thin or pan) their salads are wonderful too. (Always fresh and tasty and HUGE! Their staff is fabulous! Always friendly, prompt and so efficient. Too bad they haven't opened one in NM. ALWAYS worth the trip!

Oregano's Restaurant: Okay, Oregano's is wonderful and their "pizz-ookies" are out of this world. HOWEVER, I will not wait for 40 minutes for their food...and I consider the people who do fools. No food is worth waiting over 20 minutes for...and that's just to be seated! Not waiting 20 for food! Unless you go really early or really late, find some other place to go and try again next time!
