This place is in a great location and has excellent selections. They have beer and pizza, and both are fabulous! The prices are reasonable, and the service wasn't bad. I highly recommend this place. The small pizzas are the perfect amount for one person to have for dinner, so long as you also get a cold, hearty pint of course!

If a pizza place served such great pizza as the Paradiso I'd go there... If a pub had as awesome a menu of some of the best brews in the world as the Paradiso I'd go there for their beer... To find a place that has BOTH is a treasure! I've only recently found this place and only been twice but I've DEFINITELY put this place on my radar screen! I primarily went to this place because of high recommendations for their beer selection, and was surprised that their pizza is some of the best I've ever had as well. These folks are very knowledgeable about their beers and can provide first hand reviews that expand on their impressive brew menu. A warning though... some of their brews boast up to 12% alcohol and if you let your palate dictate how much you drink you might end up taking the afternoon off! If you're a fine beer/ale fan (as I am) and like good pizza as well, this is a "must go" place!!!

Improved Upon Original: It is rare that a restaurant gets improved upon when they expand beyond the original store. But, this is the case with the new Pizzeria Paradiso in Georgetown. It is more spacious and has a great beer selection. I had a great 8 inch pizza with an egg that was one of the best pizzas I have had in a while. The wait staff is very knowledgable and had great timing.

I had heard great things about their pizza so while in the area, I visited for lunch. Service was excellent - quick and efficient and attentive. I consider myself a pizza connisseur so I really looked forward to comparing their pizza to others. I thought it was good, but not "the greatest I have ever had" as others have described it. I got the eight inch sausage. The crust was thin but edges had a bit of puff to them. I found the edges dry so a bit of olive oil added moisture and taste. I have not previously had the type of fresh mozzarella cheese they use. Good, mildly stringy, wierd browning (maybe low fat?), the amount of sausage was very skimpy for my taste and the price. Good flavor with a hint of garlic, some tomatoe chunks in the sauce. I liked the fact that the pizza did not taste salty as many do. The pizza is not cheap with the average type of eight inch topped pizza costing you $11-$12. I would not put it into the WOW category, but their pizza was unique enough to be interesting and certainly worth a visit . The place was very clean, adequately staffed, comfortable, nice view of the street, and well kept.

Outside of Italy this is best pizza place around. An authentic wood burning stove cooks your pizza to perfection. The finest fresh ingredients are used as toppings. A nice selection of wine is also available. And true to an Italian pizzeria the tables are close to one another completing the original pizza experience.

My experience here has always been very good. Pizzas are delicious and the beer menu is never ending. On a nice day outside seating. DuPont Circle location I have never been to the Georgetown location.

I tried to get into Paradiso Dupont Circle once and it was mobbed. Fast-forward one year and I'm walking around Georgetown with my beautiful friend from Spain on a beautiful sunny day. I remember the wife had stopped at Paradiso Georgetown so I ask her for directions and there I go! Place is clean cozy airy. But also a bit sterile and chain-y. Great for a quiet lunch despite being busy. Alright service a bit erratic and disorganized (maybe understaffed?) but fine. I sat at the bar on the main floor but there is another bar downstairs where I was told all the good taps are. Great bottle list divided in styles with a heckuva lot of sours wild ales and lambics. A good amount of taps too sixteen plus a cask but no variety. Mostly IPA's. Maharaja Mikkeller Single Hop (had the Palisade and loved it) Speakeasy Double Daddy Lagunitas Lucky 13 Victory Hop Wallop Illimites Simple Malt IPA from Quebec... They serve flights ($9-$11) and I like that. Got one. Their pizza is...

Food is not too filling or greasy at all so you never leave feeling bloated and gross liked you pigged out on pizza. It's reasonably sized good quality fare. Don't remember the service which I guess is a good thing.

Couple that with the mind-boggling array of fine quality beers on tap and I'm in heaven. Enjoy your pizza in the elegant upstairs dining room or downstairs in the cozy bar. The one downside: this place is very expensive with beer going...

NW; 202-337-1245; eatyourpizza.com) feels like a ski chalet. In addition to 16 regularly rotated drafts it offers more than 150 bottled beers-a nice complement to the pies from Pizzeria Paradiso upstairs.
