I Love Sam's!!!: I used to live in Wausau a long time ago, ever since then I have been in love with it! I tell everyone about it! Every time I am there, I HAVE TO go there! I have never had anything like it! I am going there next weekend and I can't wait to get my usual (cheese pizza)!!!! I even started buying one to bring back for my family here in MN when I visit! I even have a Sam's T-Shirt ha ha! You are the best! Keep it up!

best pizza: This is right now the best pizza I have had anywhere in the last ten years. I don't live in Wausau but Whenever I'm near there, I always have to have a Sam's Pizza. Great garlic cheese bread too.

Sam's Pizza has changed little over the years. There is no place in Wausau where you will find a better pizza. The dough is not frozen it is hand thrown. Generous toppings no skimping on the cheese. The staff is courteous. Prices are reasonable for the quality of pizza that Sam's serves up. PROS: Parking at the west side location is hard to find CONS: Absolutely none.

I ate at Sam's with my family in the early '60s (before the Beatles were on Ed Sullivan's show) and I still stop by whenever I'm in Wausau. It is just the same (which means just as good) as it was back then. There is no pizza like Sam's anywhere....

We moved to the cities 30+ years ago from the Wausau area and always stop at Sam's Pizza when we are back in town visiting relatives.We always thought Sam's Pizza was the best pizza one could get. Unfortunately after 30+ years apparently the recipe or ownership has changed? The pizza we purchased last weekend was extremely disappointing and expensive. $17.00 for a pizza that wasn't even okay let alone great. Very very disappointing to someone who grew up on what used to be awesome Sam's Pizza.. It's highly doubtful that we will even make this a required eating stop on our next visit due to our the level of disappointment. Did Sam's change hands or did they just change the recipe? A very sad day for Sam's Pizza lovers.
